Lightbulb Knex company Giant Builds. Post them here!

While surfing on the internet I came across some brilliant knex designs, probably made by the K'nex company themselves. These so called "Giant Builds" (as they call them on their website) can sometimes be found at exhibitions in museums or amusement parks.

They are quite hard to find.

So if you have pictures of any, Post them here!
(In full size please so we can zoom in)

Here's what i found so far:

Pirate

knex dolphin, Arizona Science Center, Phoenix

Seoul National Science Museum , South Korea

Simpletech?

The only time I ever saw big models like this was when there was a knex exhibition in The Netherlands ~10 years ago in "De Efteling" ( a dutch amusement park). But all i can remember from it is that they had skeletons playing music in blacklight and clocks going crazy. They also had all the Maxima sets for display. Sadly, I could not find any pictures of it though.
**Newspaper article**<-- More info about this in dutch.

There is a large list of big builds on their website
K'NEX | ClubK'NEX | GIANT Builds

You have to be a member to see them.

Some of them are amazing

The best big build would be a real-size house that had floors, running water, and electricity. Maybe someday I'll be able to build that .

I saw the pictures on ClubKnex (I'm a member there) but couldn't upload them.

But I did find this calculator, it's pretty big and complex.

This is the world's tallest and fastest Knex roller coaster; Colossus.

None of those were built by the Knex company, but I thought I'd post them anyway.

Actually, TTD33 holds the record for tallest knex coaster: Cosi & TTD33 join forces to break the height record! - Page 9

Isn't the biggest build ever of the white house?

I guess Wikipedia was wrong, then .

Yes, the biggest one is the White House, which uses 514,000 pieces. You can see a picture of it here.

^I've seen the name Andrea Thomas come by a few times... He's a "KNEX designer" so he works for knex.

Here's another one. There was no extra info, I only know that the pictures were taken in the Philippines.

Wow, some of those are amazing. I wonder how much time is spent building them.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I've always been curious, how do they make the "skin" of these models? I know the inside is just a massive blue rod lattice, but that triceratops for example, how do they make such a good skin seemingly out of only green connectors?

It's Kinda cheap how they do it. All of the skin on the triceratops is Chain Pieces. They just get them colored the way they want to and wrap it around the structure.
