I believe I received my first set when I was probably around five or so. I wasn't into it all that much until I got my first Screamin' Serpent when I was seven or eight.

I think I was about 5 also. I got the little orange suitcase tub thing, but I didn't enjoy it much until I got a rippen rocket.

I started about two years ago with the old 400 Pc. Building Tub, but my collection started zooming upward a couple months after it. Around the middle of last year I started with the ball machines, but I didn't have a ball machine kit; Not even one! Now my estimated number of pieces is 10,000!

Like 13-14 years ago there was a man standing in a big store with a table full of knex. He had this small windmill and if you could duplicate it, you could take it home.
I went several times that week xD. I should've been about 6 at that time.
Around my 7th birthday, I've got the orange case as a present for some school-church related feast from someone in the family. When I was 7-8-9 years old, I borrowed the big ball factory from someone living down the street. I used to built it in a single day.

Later on I got the space training tower something and some other small stuff and the yellow case.
And just recently I've been searching k'nex and started buying it on my own.

I don't know when I had my first step. Thought I live in Germany and there it is hard to get sets, I lived still for 3 yeares in Calefornia. In th beginning I was about 3. I think knex started in my life in the period frome 3-5.

I got some little set with like 50 pieces when I was 4 because my parents wanted to give me something that would occupy me. I didn't put them down for 2 years until when I got the hyper space training tower in a day (I was 6). I think I built that thing 6 times and I've been hooked ever since. I'm 20 now and probably have nearly 30000 pieces and am currently working on my largest creation yet.
