Default Radio Mast

Hey guys, I decided to make a 5ft. tall radio mast as a side project. I hardly had any 3-D connectors left though, so that's why I couldn't use any on the tower.

Overview

The Base Platform (there is an entrance, railings, and a floor so you could walk around it)

A radio dish (there are two in all)

Comment and tell me what you think!

Try adding cords to the tower so it looks more realistic and cooler.

I was thinking about doing that. I might, but I would probably have to take it outside to anchor the cords. Last time I took a K'Nex project outside, our friendly neighborhood groundhog "went" on it. I saw it from our kitchen. There may be a way to anchor them from inside, if i put weights on it.

I like that you didn't use any 3D connectors. Makes it more of a challenge when building, especially to support the structure.

Also, It would look cool if you put a point at the tip of the tower.

Sorry for the late response.

Thanks, 3-D's would have come apart easier too.

I would have, but I was forced to take it down so we could re-do my room. (My future projects should be in a nicer environment!)

It looks cool, but it doesnt look sturdy. The Radio mast was a good idea.

Excellent idea, good structural project. I've always thought K'nex was perfect for girder-focused mocs.

As for your groundhog problem, too bad connects aren't made of metal. My Dad had that problem with the bulldog and the model-T in the 1930's. He ran an electrical line over to the frame of the Ford and after one "shock" the Bulldog never marked the model-T again.
