Default Marble Run V.2

Ok. So i decided to make a second Marble ball run.

Using a similar idea from my last one, I made a conveyor belt to lift the marbles up.

It works very well, and never gets stuck.

This looks very promising.
The conveyor belt works perfect! I wonder how you connect the motor to it. Is it with gears like normal chain?

^I just used the same small tires that I used the whole way up. It was enough to grip it.

I'm thinking of making it taller, because I started to make some tracks yesterday, but its hardly high enough to do anything.

I will probably raise it another foot ( 2 red rods)

looks realy cool, i don't get how you make it bend upwards (the white rods are used at top and bottom row)

and i think that if you don't have enough grip when making it taller, a white connector with green rods on it could replace the wheel with tyres to get the chain up

stay in touch!

^The white/gray/black rods on the bottom, aren't connected in, their just pushed up against the 3d connectors socket. Its a really gradual radii system.

Its now a foot taller. I couldn't make it any taller, because i was running low on gray connectors for the belt and wheels. I started the first track as well. Pics later tonight.

I raised it up a foot, and i finished the first track.

I added 3 small xylophone keys, to make it sound a bit.

Pics and vid.

Lol I like the >ting tang tong< Nice paths, they look great! You could maybe extend the second yellow path. Because it looks like the marble has enough speed to go up a little longer.

You sir are now officially my favorite builder that is not coaster related.

I love how you took a little toy instrument and took it apart for the sound.

Well its Finished.

Second track:

The loop works very well. I've only ever seen 2 or 3 marbles fall off, and when they do they land on the track below it.

Final video
Link does not work

I wasn't exactly pleased with the result at the top. i tried so many different type of track switchers, but none of them were reliable. So instead, i had to make it choose by chance. It seems to go to the left track more often, sometimes not

Would you mind if I used your conveyor belt for marbles idea? I think the whole thing is very cool.

It's funny to see that this has more pieces then the big ball factory (oh, and and you didn't count the tubing) :P
