Default MAR- Maxlaam's Assault Rifle [WIP]

I never really got around asking Zak if I could use his Trigger mechanism, so in case he minds, please let me know.

The front part of the gun with the mag clipped in.

The gun without the mag inserted.

Please comment.

I noticed that the basic frame of the handle looks similar to the OSSR. He could make it angled for some more comfort.

Sorry for the double post, I got an update!

Adds/Fixes/Changes
-Added the back of the gun including the firing pin

-Fixed the magazine jamming the bolt

-Fixed a part of the cocking mechanism "derailing" (added a simple rubberband, hacky fix but works!)

-Changed the handle as you guys suggested, I really like it now, it feels comfy and it sure was worth the hour I spent on it trying to figure out a good way to attach it.

It's a bit out of proportion if you look at the handle compared to the stock.

The gun from the left side

The gun from the right side

A look down the barrel

Also, I'm thinking of a name change, whoever comes up with something good gets a free cookie!

I have an idea if you want to make the handle more proportionate (different trigger, bear with me here), it took me 5 seconds to think this up.

Notice how the handle attaches to the body here.

^That's almost the same thing.

So as of now, I had some troubles with the magazine not loading the bullets properly, sometimes it jams to bullets on top of each other, and when pulling back the firing pin a bullet gets stuck on it. It might be because of the smaller white rods.

I'll finish the stock first.

Its looking fine, try making the handle bigger.

And for the Trigger, the internet Is a large place And I'm sure Zak would like to get credit for that trigger.

It looks... Like there's no reason for my trigger and bolt on this gun. Trigger was design the way it was so that it dodged the bullet pin on the Zakgun, while on this gun it doesn't need to. Same with the bolt. Best to ask next time.

Don't worry Ill give you credit.
I'm not posting it anywhere else than here, I won't be making a tutorial either.

I only took the trigger design and bolt.
I won't call it a ZAK gun remake, I love how it looked, but I fancy more realistic guns. (Removable mag, removable scopes/lights/etc.)

Okay so, even if you called it a Zakgun remake, it wouldn't be. This a a normal mag gun, while the zakgun did the whole transfer ammo to barrel thing and fire like a single shot.

Oh, now I get what that lower rod was for, I used it to keep it from derailing, but now it makes complete sense!

When I'll start on a new gun, I'll make everything myself. I've gotten a lot of inspiration from you guys.

Mepain made a zakgun with a removable mag and I figure you can easily add a scope to the zakgun.
