Only the mag looks like it. I made my mag without looking at his gun. Freaking get over it. As for the body structures of both guns, they look 100% different.

i'm not realy fond of k'nex guns,
but if they both made a mag at this size, it's pretty obvious that they look alike for some part

Seems like there is a lot of bickering about guns if you make something remotely similar to what someone has made before.

Meh, it's just KI really. As far as I am concerned, I made it without looking at anyone else's gun, and I didn't know that gun existed until after I posted it, so thus I don't really care.

(getting back on topic here) Other than that, what do you think of the gun BGT?

I notice that too. Drives me up the wall to have to read people doing that.

Really, there are plenty of things two K'Nex designs can have in common that still make them different from one another.

But since I'm posting here:
Looks pretty cool. I've never really been able to understand the concepts behind making guns, but they're still cool to see pics of.

It is pretty accurate, but it tends to shoot high when its used for long ranged combat.

Agreed, I think we should start having a policy of starting fights over designs. Deleting posts and or giving infractions.

I bet it has a decent firepower since it uses Oodammo. I really like those bullets, they dent my HL2 Collectors Edition Box :P

Well they're pistols, and they both use a GENERIC body structure. Look at the differences of the trigger, handle, and mag, and you'll find out the difference. You do have a point, there ARE some similarities in both designs though.

I have a neat idea: Make a silhouette of both guns and compare those. =P

What do you mean by "Mechanism"? If you are talking about the trigger, they are completely different, but if you are talking about loading method and firing system, then you are right.

You pull the orange part on the back out behind the trigger, aim it, and pull the trigger to shoot. Then repeat. The rounds automatically load.

They're not the same gun.

The only similarities that I can see are the outer body structure and the fact that they are oodammo pistols.

Seriously, Ace, it's not like it's the end of the world if someone builds some kind of design out of K'Nex that has a few minor similarities to others. I see nothing wrong with Jeff building pistols the way he wants them built (as long as he doesn't shoot me, of course).
