I haven't checked back here in awhile. I mostly hang around instructables. I was just checking to see if you guys are still interested in K'nex weapons. I never did get around to making a guide.
Anyways I figured I'd show you one of my best weapons so far. It's the 3rd version, 6th revision of my oodassault pistol. I think I showed you 2.5 in my display thread. I must have made the 3rd series after posting that. The 3rd series was made after I challenged someone when they made a slide action oodammo pistol. I thought I could make a better one. I ended up making a very compact pistol. I didn't think much of it though so I took the slide off and worked on the magazine. I added more and more features and posted the 3rd revision. I left it for awhile but decided to improve it again and revised it a further 3 times until I got this.

This is by far my favorite work so far. It features a 12 round, tilting magazine. It's tilted via a sliding part under the trigger guard. The mag pusher locks down. It can use two types of clips. The one I made is a stripper clip where you keep rounds lined up in a small holder and then slide them all in at once like a real stripper clip. Overall, this allows for very fast loading. You can both load an empty magazine to near full and add individual rounds midway through (as if you were to pick up ammo during a war for example). It also features a safety on the trigger guard. The barrel design was something special I came up with and only I have used so far to make it as compact as possible and still really durable. I've dropped it from about 5 feet up and it was still intact. Granted, small pieces might break off but they can easily be fixed. Overall, it'll remain functional after being dropped.
So yeah it was designed mostly as a war weapon. It competes with several oodammo guns for best oodammo pistol. It scored a very close second, behind by 1-2 points, to the MeZak in a contest.

Yeah, we are still here. Not too many guns being built, mostly other stuff.

Looks good. Any video of it in action?

Yeah I figured so. And here I was getting all excited to see what would come out of the K'nex forum. We could use some fresh gun builders. But of course K'nex was originally designed for plenty of other types of creations so just make whatever suits you.
I don't have the 3.6 exactly but I do have a video of the 3.5 where the only major difference was the magazine. You'll see a round drop out of the magazine on the last shot and I fixed that in the 3.6. Otherwise they're pretty much the same.
