Default The Sea Beast

This guy has 12 legs driven by a motor in the center. The legs work the same as "strandbeest" by the kinetic sculptor Theo Jansen. It walks in a straight line, I'll post a video later this week.

Very Creepy. I like the use of the black hinge pieces. Post 200!

That's cool! The design of the legs looks pretty complicated.

I've tried using this theo jansen thing to build a big walker but couldn't make it work due to the required torque.

But this is a beautifful example of how it should look like. And it looks realy good with the sea theme. Bravo!

I can't believe my eyes, this is epic beyond belief!

I saw the video yesterday evening, it seems to bend a little as the outer legs lose their grip.

Doesn't defeat how awesome it is and the movement.
